In the first episode to create a rainbow in your marriage we talked about going on a date then we talked about serving, now I want to share the third secret.

SECRET NUMBER THREE is to talk to each other about religion.
You may raise an eyebrow at this one, that's ok. Love and marriage are not built on shallow chit chat, or at least they shouldn't be. Respecting your mate comes from deep within. Talking about each other's true beliefs can be thrilling, scary and sometimes even controversial however, don't let that scare you.

The greatest heights are often reached by experiencing the lowest lows. Laughter can be the greatest remedy to the shadows of anger. Marriage will give you the widest variety of both. In the midst of that, let your foundation be set firmly on God's word and his trues.

God promises blessings on those who observe his commands. Do you know what they are? Do care?

Deuteronomy 11
22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow—to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways and to hold fast to him- 23 then the LORD will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you. 24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the western sea. [b] 25 No man will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

When you study, study it topically, study it online, study it using devotionals.

When you read, write down those things that don't make sense, things that wow you, things that pierce your heart. Talk about those things you wrote down with each other.
